Daniel Tay is a passionate educator and a visual-mapping consultant based in Singapore. He is the pioneer batch of ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructors (TLI) (in Asia) trained personally by Tony Buzan and Chris Griffiths. Daniel has been fascinated with visual techniques since the 1990s, and has been using it extensively in his daily life. Daniel's passion is to use visuals to help unlock the creative genius in every brain, regardless of age.

Daniel's Visual Map on the topic "Diversity in Animals" was featured on ThinkBuzan's August 2013 Newsletter as the "TLI Map of the Month". Seven of his Maps are featured in ThinkBuzan's Mind Map Gallery, the "Hall of Fame" in the world of digital Mind Maps.

His works have also been published on Visual.ly. Two of his Maps, "Basic English Grammar" and "Grammar: Verbs" are awarded the "Staff Pick" status, which is a recognition for outstanding infographics. One of his most famous work, "Basic English Grammar" (shown below), is highly sought after by educators from all over the world (including Canada, China, India, France, Ireland, Indonesia, Mexico, the UK and the US). The BEG Map has also been featured on website like Edudemic and Daily Infographic as a great tool for learning grammar.
